Strategically located on the edge of Westland National Park (West Coast – South Island NZ) in a peaceful rural setting, Ribbonwood Retreat offers a haven from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Welcome to our home, a place where you can relax in natural wilderness and enjoy our panoramic views from every room. Hosts Julie and Jonathan are avid hikers and can advise you of all the walks and activities of the Westlands glacier region.
Cottage
Separate and self-contained, sleeps two or three persons, has a king bed and a single bed, kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and tea and coffee making area. The Cottage has panoramic view of the forests, mountains and snowfields. It has a large private deck, sit out and enjoy the views of the mountains, farmland and sunsets
Waiho Suite
On your own private first floor of the house, the Waiho suite has two bedrooms and sleeps two or three persons. The large master bedroom has a king bed and single bed. The second room has queen bed. The master bedroom has panoramic 270 degree views of the mountains, snowfields and forests, the smaller room looks out onto our garden. Both rooms share a private bathroom and open onto a balcony which looks out onto farmland, our garden and the forests of Westland National Park
